Hose Bib Shut Off

Care & Maintenance
Prepare your home for winter by turning off the exterior water line and draining that line:
Locate the water line, in your basement mechanical room, labeled “Lawn Service Shut Off & Drain.”
Turn the knob on the water line so the valve wings are now sitting left & right – perpendicular to the water line.
Go outside and open the hose bib(s) allowing the water to drain – leave the hose bib open all winter.
Return to the basement and open the bleeder cap using a cup/bucket/container to catch the water that drains from the line.
Once drained close the bleeder valve cap.
