Marketing Coordinator (Calgary)

Morrison Homes is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to execute marketing efforts for our Calgary single-family division. As a top, award-winning builder, we’ve worked hard to build a reputation as the Homebuyer’s Best Friend™ and need an enthusiastic marketing professional to help drive leads, support sales and build the established Morrison brand.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator:

  • Coordinates the development of point of sale collateral and signage, including minimal copywriting
  • Helps set up new sales centres
  • Coordinates our digital marketing program, including SEM/SEO, email marketing, lead generation (via HubSpot), and content marketing
  • Assists in the ongoing development and maintenance of our website
  • Supports and liaises with our online sales assistant
  • Assists in managing all of Morrison’s social media platforms and online reputation
  • Liaises with industry media contacts to encourage editorial and writes advertorial content as required
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with agencies, vendors and suppliers
  • Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and developer partners to achieve shared marketing goals

The Right Person

We're looking for someone who is eager to put their learned marketing and communications skills to use and excel in a career helping to grow an established, industry-leading company. You have a passion for integrated marketing, an interest in real estate, and a growing skillset in advertising, marketing communications, and lead generation. Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in a marketing or communications with a minimum of 2 years of relevant marketing experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience using HubSpot to manage a lead generation program an asset.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac OS X an asset (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Previous experience within the real estate or home building industry an asset

  • Be fully versed on specification inclusions for each community and the options potential and new homeowner have available to them
  • Meet and liaise with customers and new homeowners and assist them throughout the home purchase process
  • Report to and work with the Area Manager to provide excellent customer service
  • Able to work evenings and weekend

Construction Site Supervisor (Calgary)

THE POSITION

Morrison Homes is looking for a Construction Site Supervisor to join our team. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the construction of homes, from construction commencement to post possession.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Display accountability from follow through to completion
  • Oversee multiple job sites daily from staking/excavation to post possession of home
  • Coordinate the various trades and contractors on site
  • Ensure projects are in accordance to contract and built to applicable specifications and scope of work.
  • Ensure projects are on time and within budget and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Customer relations – conduct homeowner walk through meetings addressing any concerns in a professional and timely fashion
  • Ensure compliance of all health and safety requirements
  • Supervise, coach and mentor site assistant and warranty staff
  • Conduct pre and post possession inspections and walk-throughs

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of proven Site Superintendent experience in the new home industry
  • Solid knowledge of construction site operations and current Alberta Building Codes
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Self motivated and hardworking individual with excellent communication skills
  • Well organized, detail oriented and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct Pre and Post possession inspections
  • Communicate effectively with the trades persons on additional concerns and schedule warranty and trades repairs
  • Display accountability to follow through to completion

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be well organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Exhibit confidence by establishing relationships with customers and trades
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, rewarding environment
  • 3+ years of proven Site Superintendent or Warranty Technician experience in the new home industry is an asset
  • Experience utilizing software such as Punch List Manager is an asset
  • Must provide a clean driver’s abstract.
