Marketing Lead - Edmonton

Morrison Homes is looking for a Marketing Lead to manage and execute marketing efforts in Edmonton. As a top, award-winning builder, we’ve worked hard to build a reputation as the Homebuyer’s Best Friend™ and need an enthusiastic, experienced and well-rounded marketing professional to help drive leads, support sales and build the established Morrison brand.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Lead:

  • Develops marketing strategies and creative solutions that drive marketing and sales metrics
  • Plans, designs and coordinates new sales centres
  • Develops and coordinates point of sale collateral and signage
  • Develops and manages blocking chart and advertising campaigns, including print, online display, social advertising, out of home, radio, direct mail, etc.
  • Directs and manages a comprehensive digital marketing program, including SEM/SEO, online lead generation (via Hubspot) and content marketing
  • Liaises with industry media contacts to encourage editorial and writes advertorial content as required
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with agencies, vendors and suppliers
  • Assists in website strategy and maintenance; coordinates online leads and website updates as required
  • Assists in managing all of Morrison’s social media platforms and online reputation
  • Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and developer partners to achieve shared marketing goals

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in a marketing or communications with a minimum of 5 years of relevant B2C marketing experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Copywriting experience an asset
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud on Mac OS X an asset (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Experience using Hubspot to manage a lead generation program an asset.
  • Previous experience within the real estate or home building industry an asset
  • Experience working in an agency environment considered an asset

THE POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Display accountability to follow through to completion

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be well organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Exhibit confidence by establishing relationships with customers and trades
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment
  • 3+ years of proven Site Superintendent or Warranty Technician experience in the new home industry is an asset, willing to train the right candidate
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • 2 to 3 years proven Customer Service experience
