The Position
Morrison Homes has an opportunity in Edmonton for a professional New Home Area Manager. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you are results-oriented, proven by your ability to deliver strong, high volume sales.
Job Responsibilities
- To sell Morrison Homes’ new home product offering within your subdivision, both pre-sale and spec homes and to provide and maintain Morrison Homes’ industry-leading customer service experience
- With the support of the Sales Manager, negotiate the terms of new purchase agreements
- Embrace Morrison Homes’ focus on raising the standards of the home building experience by offering unparalleled choice, quality and service while always putting the Customer First
- Become fully versed and knowledgeable in Morrison Homes’ culture, customer experience expectations, processes, product offerings and the communities in which we build
- Develop and maintain relationships with Morrison Homes’ internal departments towards providing timely responses to customers and excellent personalized customer service
- Maintain detailed homeowner files, keep the showhome marketing materials up to date and ensure the showhome is always kept to Morrison Homes’ expectations
- Develop, meet and work to exceed both Morrison Homes’ and your personal sales targets
- Understand the new home housing market in Edmonton and the competitive environment in the communities in which Morrison Homes builds
- Participate in scheduled Sales Meetings and Training Sessions
- Able to work evenings and weekends during regular showhome hours
Job Qualifications
- A drive to achieve, positive outlook and energy and a desire to grow and learn
- New homes sales experience is not necessary but would be a definite asset
- Self-motivated, well-organized and hardworking with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A proven ability to work independently and proactively and take initiative
- An ability and willingness to deal with sensitive situations in a discreet and respectful manner and ability to work with confidential customer and company information
- Maintain and promote a positive image of Morrison Homes through a high level of professional service and by dealing with all stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner
Compensation
Morrison Homes offers an Industry-leading commission payment structure
