Morrison Gets Cold For a Cause

On Friday, August 22, the team at Morrison Homes showed how cool under pressure we are when a courageous group of us participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. On that day, with an already icy temperature of 13 degrees celsius, 24 Morrison staff members, including Chairman Al Morrison, huddled under the company's helicopter pad to get doused with 20 buckets full of ice cold water. We had been organizing the event, when nearby competitor Albi Homes issued a formal challenge to us. The chilly event, captured on video, was supported by a $8,000 donation from Morrison, plus $100 for each participating staff member.
