Join Morrison Homes as a Junior Residential Construction Estimator in our Calgary office. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare residential construction estimates.
- Complete quantity take-offs and cost calculations.
- Price customer extras, upgrades, and change orders.
- Coordinate with estimating, purchasing, sales, construction, and selection studio teams.
- Communicate with trade partners and suppliers.
- Report to the Estimating & Purchasing Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Residential construction experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of residential construction practices, drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Sage 300 CRE, Builder MT, and other database-driven systems is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Morrison Homes is actively seeking a Construction Administrator to become an integral part of our Construction Team within our single-family division. As a leading, award-winning builder, we’ve dedicated ourselves to earning the title of the Homebuyer’s Best Friend™. We are in search of a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing various administrative tasks, and helping construction projects run smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and processing of Permit Applications and follow through, Lot Inspection monitoring, uploading critical documents to Vista for City Inspections
- Communicate with construction field team, trade partners, internal departments, and City of Calgary
- Document Management for Permits – Floor & Joist Layouts, Window Layouts, Form A’s, Lateral Support Letters, Tall Wall Details, Soil Bearing, etc.
- ANHW Application, Enmax Enrollments, Gas (ATCO) Application & Meter Install
- Weekly Trade Reports, Internal Reports and Management Reports
- Show home alarm management
- Variety of tasks that change daily depending on importance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or experience in new home construction is required
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Previous experience with scheduling software an asset
- Self-motivated, hardworking individual with excellent communication skills
- Well organized, detail oriented, flexible with the ability to multi-task
- Work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment

Join Morrison Homes as an Experienced Interior Design Consultant in our Calgary office. For decades, Morrison Homes has earned recognition as an award-winning builder and the Homebuyer’s Best Friend™ by putting homeowners at the center of everything we do. This role supports that commitment by guiding homeowners through the design selection process, providing expert design advice, and helping bring their vision to life with confidence and care.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
- Meet with and liaise directly with homeowners, guiding them through the interior selection process and providing expert advice throughout the project.
- Identify each client’s personal style, preferences, and functional needs, and recommend cohesive interior selections that align with both their vision and the home’s construction requirements.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of all construction and interior design scopes, including electrical and plumbing plans, cabinetry, interior finish packages, lighting, flooring, paint, window coverings, security systems, audio and media systems, central vacuum systems, staircases, railings, and other related features.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design.
- Previous experience working with a residential home builder required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and hardworking, with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate a variety of administrative and project-related activities.
- Proven ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Maintain and promote a positive image of Morrison Homes by consistently delivering a high level of professional, customer-focused service.
