Controlling Condensation in Your Home

Managing humidity and condensation in your home during the winter is essential for maintaining a comfortable and efficient living space.

To help regulate moisture levels, adjust your thermostat’s humidity settings according to the outdoor temperature, as outlined in your Homeowner Guide. Improve airflow by opening blinds and ensuring heat registers are unobstructed. Additionally, reduce excess moisture by taking shorter showers, running the HRV longer when bathing, and using the hood fan while cooking.

Allow approximately 48 hours for humidity levels to adjust after making changes. For more details, refer to your Homeowner Guide.
