Your new home just got even better. Starting October 2026, every Morrison Home includes our Eco Path program as standard, complete with Built Green registration. That means a home designed to be more efficient, more comfortable, and easier on the planet from day one, with no upgrades or add-ons required.
With Eco Path, you get a home that costs less to heat, cool and power, stays more comfortable year round, and may qualify for CMHC insurance savings. You’ll also breathe cleaner indoor air thanks to low VOC materials, and the home is ready for an electric vehicle charger down the road.
Built Green is a Canadian certification program where an independent third party checks a home’s energy efficiency, indoor air quality, materials, water use and waste. A Gold rating is the second highest of its four levels, so buyers get outside proof that their home is built well above code.
Buyers who want to go further can upgrade to Net Zero Ready, which adds thicker insulation, triple pane windows and insulation under the basement slab, so the home is built to reach net zero once solar is added. The top Net Zero tier completes that path with a heat pump, a heat pump hot water tank, whole home air sealing and solar panels, so the home can produce about as much energy as it uses over a year.
